At the end of January, we began a two-week script development workshop.

Creating this time and space to focus solely on the script proved critical to our process. We brought a group of actors into the room with our script and directing teams - the work during this intensive brought many changes to The Willmar Project script, and became a significant turning point in the trajectory and shape of the project.

We were able to gain feedback from both actors and an audience of artists, professors, writers, and community members during an invited reading in NYC at the culmination of the workshop.
