JULIA SCHONBERG (she/her) is a NY based actor, theatre maker, applied theatre artist, facilitator, and educator. Over the past decade, Julia has worked and trained with The Boston Center for American Performance, New Repertory Theatre, Double Edge Theatre Company, Houses on the Moon, The Barrow Group, Superhero Clubhouse, The Bushwick Starr, Columbia Stages, Brave New World Repertory Theatre, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, SPACE on Ryder Farm, River’s Edge Theatre Co., Cornerstone Theater Company, and Sojourn Theatre. Julia received her BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University and her MA in Applied Theatre from CUNY’s School of Professional Studies. In her ever-evolving artistic practice, Julia is driven toward storytelling experiences that create opportunities for community engagement, radical imagination, dialogue, and critical consciousness development. Her work is rooted in an ongoing investigation of better practices for access and participation in the arts.
