JACEY ERWIN (she/her/hers) is an experienced dramaturg, with expertise in contextual and historical research and

audience engagement. In 2018-2019, she was the resident production dramaturg at Luna Stage in West Orange, NJ, providing extensive research for four mainstage productions, and curating an exhibit based on that research for audience engagement. From 2016-2018, she was literary manager at the Civilians theater company in Brooklyn, where she provided research and dramaturgical support for The Undertaking, Times Square, Rimbaud in New York, and other works in development. She also co-produced two seasons of the Civilians’ Let Me Ascertain You cabaret series at Joe’s Pub, and recruited and oversaw the Civilians’ Field Research Team, a volunteer group who conduct, transcribe, and edit interview materials to assist in the creation of cabaret performances. Jacey holds a Ph.D. in Theater from UCLA. She has a wide knowledge of world theatre history, and documentary theatre, and has taught at UCLA, Pepperdine University, Woodbury University, Rutgers University, and Pace University.
