GAVEN TRINIDAD (they/he/siya) completed his MFA studies in dramaturgy in theatre and dance at the UMass Amherst Department of Theatre, as well as a graduate certificate in Advanced Feminist Studies at the UMass Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Interested in dance, drama, and queer aesthetics, he’s interned and worked at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, New York Theatre Workshop, the TEAM, Ma-Yi Theatre Company, and Playhouse on the Square. Ping Chong and Talvin Wilks), Angels in America (dir. Irene Crist). Alumnus of Teach for America Memphis Corps 2012. Professional Apprentice Alumnus in The Juilliard School’s Drama Division. Occasionally, he directs for National Queer Theatre, and is currently writing his first full-length play Gaymer which is slated for further development later this season. He is excited to join the Neighborhood Theatre Project’s script creation team!
